As China’s auto market gradually matured, the development potential of autoaftermarket began to release gradually. Meantime the strategic importance of thespare parts business will gradually improve and will be one of the key areas for thefuture market competition. The reposition of Spare parts business strategy to thedomestic auto enterprises is at a crucial stage. Spare parts supply chain managementis more complicated than vehicle manufacturing supply chain management. Themain challenge comes from the huge volume and varieties of spare parts, unstableand difficulty to demand forecast, and the complexity of the overall supply anddistribution networks. China automobile companies are currently facing majorchallenge in improving the overall level of service on the obstacles to plan predictivecapability, reliability and stability of the front-end spare parts supply, the overallsupply chain visibility, logistics controllability and other fields.This article is based on the FAW-VW Audi spare parts management businessin several core business modules, in-depth analysis of operational processes andbusiness status quo various business modules to restrict the FAW-VW Audi spareparts management issues in-depth and meticulous research. First, spare partsfinancing and low efficiency for the introduction of advanced scientific issues raisedaftermarket spare parts forecasting management tool, while enhancing suppliercollaboration management; for original spare parts market share due to price factorshave led to the loss of the problem, this paper combined with the externalenvironment within the original spare parts feasibility and for warehousing andlogistics aspects of the problem, the paper discusses the buyout warehouse management; advantages and disadvantages of in-depth analysis, proposed theestablishment of a market-oriented price system, and should rely on existingregulations and policies to strengthen supplier behavior and market supervision alsoproposed to strengthen the interim library management assessmentrecommendations.This article from the FAW-VW Audi spare parts management statusdeparture, through the practical issues of relevance analysis and research, the intentto discover the constraints FAW-VW Audi spare parts business developmentproblem lies.
