Optimization Study On Materials Management Process Of Construction Enterprise

Construction engineering project material and equipments costs accounted for more than half of the total project cost, there are many problems in the current material management, and these problems exist not only on the supply chain management, but also on the inventory management of construction project, making the construction project material management has a strong need for process optimization.Material management optimization of construction project is a systems engineering, but many researchers consider pure material management problems without the relevant aspects. This paper attempts to research the material management from the enterprise, project, and stakeholders of project.Paper first of all, through literature analysis, summarized material management research status at home and abroad, and the fine management thought and the joint inventory management theory. Its applicability in construction engineering project is further analyzed. Then, through the empirical research combined with normative research method, this paper analyzed the characteristics of construction industry, the characteristics of construction enterprises and the characteristics of the material management of construction projects, and then summary and analysis the problems in construction engineering project material management. Paper innovatively put forward the JMI model based on the region management, making JMI as practical means of material management optimizing. Different modes of JMI are designed for different kinds of contracts. Also material management process was designed based on JMI.
