In the 1960’s, the theory of quality of working life(QWL) was put forward and gradually changed the relationship between the enterprises and individuals and inspired new methods of human resources management.Since 1990’s, the researchers of Chinese mainland has started to have a few work in QWL and the research objects were mainly concentrated in enterprise staff and education workers. There was still lack of a consistent definition in such aspects as the concept of QWL,and it’s evaluation index and research content.After entering 21 st Century, people feel work pressure increasing day by day.The longing for balance of the relationship between work and life,and the pursuit of better quality of work life and to achieve a higher level of demand is growing.Therefore,the concept of how to improve the QWL management has attracted more and more attention by enterprise managers and researchers.They hope that improving the QWL of employees can also improve employee’s job performance.This thesis is based on the domestic and foreign scholars’ related research,taking the grass-roots staff of Agricultural Bank of China Kun Shan Branch, as the research object.By reading lots of articles, making questionnaire survey, using SPSS22.0 and analysising the data from the third party company, I try to find the factors which affect bank employees’ QWL and propose some relevant improvement methods.I hope these results can be used in human resource management by Agricultural Bank of China Kunshan Branch, and promote the stable, long-term development of ABC Kunshan and even provide a reference for improving QWL of financial employees.
