This thesis puts forward the basis of the theoretical framework for scientific and effective use of ecological resource in the relatively urbanized areas, and provides early theoretical support for policy and planning in the future.The paper research on the background of ecological resource utilization in urbanized areas from four aspects:based on the needs of highly developed urbanization, the needs of constructing the ecological city, the needs of scientific and rational utilization of urban ecologic resource, the needs of green space system development and the demand for evolution development of ecological civilization policies. Research on the current study of using patterns and ecological characteristics of urban regional development. Summarize the use of ecological resource in urbanized area to be the patterns like Development, protection, scientific and reasonable use is a long-term process, and the importance to the healthy development of urbanization.Then do the systematic study on characteristics and value of the concept of ecological resource in urbanized area. Urbanization region ecology resource can be divided into green land, forest land, garden land, cultivated land, tidal flats reed, pits or aquaculture water, water and unused land eight classes.Then comment urbanized area value function.
