China’s crude oil foreign degree of dependence is close to 60%. Automobile have become the main force in oil consumption. Motor vehicle exhaust emission is one biggest air polluter. Therefore, energy-saving and emission-reduction is extremely urgent in china. With the government more strict requirement in emission limits and oil consumption limits of motor vehicle, turbocharger has become one of the most important technologies of automobile energy-saving and emission-reduction. All in all, the national policy will force the automobile turbo technology universal quickly.Firstly, the paper introduces turbocharger briefly. And then, the author gives detailed analysis management environment of turbocharger of Hu-Nan TYEN Corporation, including external environment analysis and internal environment analysis. Internal environment analysis is divided into two parts. The first part is resources analysis, including financial resources, human resources material resources, and intangible resources. Another part is capability analysis, including Technology and R & D capability, production capability, financial capability, marketing capability and Organization and management capability. External environment analysis is divided into three parts: macro environment analysis, industry environment analysis and competitor analysis. Macro environment analysis contains five aspects content: its politics, economy, culture, society and policies and regulations; Industry environment analysis consist of Chinese automobile market capability and turbocharger assembly rate. Competitor analysis consists of 10 corporations: Honeywell, BorgWarner, Mitsubishi Heavy Industry, IHI, Cummins, BoschMahle, Continental, Kangyue, Tianli, and Fuyuan. Finally, the author put forward the turbocharger product strategy in recent 10 years of Hu-Nan TYEN Corporation and its implementing route.On the basis of the external environment and internal environment analysis, the author worked out the turbocharger product strategy of the company, which has a positive influence for the competitiveness of the enterprise. This study can provide guidance for other similar corporation as well.
