Research On Competitiveness Of Wuxi’s Service Outsourcing Industry

With the economic globalization and the advancing of information technology promoting the services outsourcing all over the world, services outsourcing has became an important part of international trade. Services outsourcing can allocate the resources optimize and save the cost, not only that, it has played a positive role in increasing the level of employment, promoting the development of trade and industrial structural adjustment for contractor. With the world economy is recovering slowly and China’s economic growth slows, the development of China’s service outsourcing industry is of important strategic significance to promote China’s industrial structure adjustment and change the mode of economic growth.This paper combines qualitative and quantitative, select Wuxi’s strategic emerging industries- services outsourcing industry as the research object. Firstly, review the relevant theory on motivation and industrial competitiveness of services outsourcing, generated introduce domestic, international and Wuxi’s service outsourcing industry development status from the aspects of size, structure and characteristics, use the international trade share index to analyze the competitiveness of Wuxi’s service outsourcing industry through horizontal contrast with other demonstration cities and longitudinal variation; secondly, his paper introduce the "diamond model" Into the analysis of Wuxi’s service outsourcing industry competitiveness, to assess the impact on the building of competitive advantage; thirdly, base on the "diamond model" build an evaluation system that contains 14 indicators related to the outsourcing industry competitiveness, combine with the factor analysis, 21 demonstration cities competitiveness of services outsourcing industry were evaluated and classified.Finally, this paper select Wuxi with different types demonstration cities(Guangzhou, Dalian) to compare the competitiveness of services outsourcing industry by factor analysis results, through research the paper found that: Wuxi’s services outsourcing industry have a great competitive advantage on economic development, industry development and infrastructure, but it is obviously inadequate on human resource. Based on these findings, combine with Wuxi’s economic transformation, and structural adjustment, the paper proposes the following recommendations on further improve Wuxi’s service outsourcing industry competitiveness: at the government level, we must continue to promote the development of modern service industry, innovative personnel training model, strengthen efforts to import talents, make the industry park brand effect; accelerate the release of onshore service outsourcing market potential, promote the coordinated development of offshore and at the enterprise level, should promote industrial upgrading by innovation-driven, enhance the capability by enlarge the enterprise scale, prepare well for talent introduction and cultivation.
