The Research On The Influence Factors Of The RMB Settlement In Cross-border Trade

With the rapid development of economic in our country, joining the global economic and trade cooperation, scholars and the media of our country and abroad gradually increasing concern RMB, more and more research of RMB internationalization appearing in varieties of academic research. The current international monetary system has exposed its internal defects, especially after the outbreak of the global economic crisis. More and more experts and scholars began to put forward the internationalization of RMB.From the process of internationalization of currencies, such as the dollar, pound, yen, euro, the internationalization of all currencies must have been a long and tortuous procedure. To become the internal currency, RMB can not escape this fate. RMB also need to go through from the settlement currency to the investment currency, then from the investment currency to the reserve currency. In the end, RMB become international currency. This is the only way for the internationalization of RMB.RMB cross-border settlement is to avoid the foreign exchange risk, speeding up the trade of between our country and neighboring countries or regions, promoting the steady growth of foreign trade in our country, to improve the trade conditions in our country and non-dollar countries. These things are of great researching value. At the same time, RMB cross-border settlement means that its use range from neighboring countries and regions expands to the global. For the development of cross-border trade in China, this breakthrough has important historical significance.Since RMB cross-border settlement pilot runs, there are a series of problems and challenges restricts its development speed. After realizing the problem, how to resolve it confused each subject of RMB cross-border settlement. On the basis of some related theories, this paper reviews the history of RMB cross-border settlement. Then this paper summaries the situation of RMB settlement in cross-border trade since the pilot of RMB settlement in cross-border trade. This paper collects and sorts macro and micro dates of RMB settlement in cross-border trade. Using theory and the econometric analysis method to analysis the influence factors of RMB settlement in cross-border trade. Then analyzing and comparing the result of the regression. At last based on the analysis results, putting forward the relevant policy recommendations.At present, our country still need accelerate the improvement and development of RMB settlement in cross-border trade business to deal with the series of challenges in the process of internationalization of RMB. In addition, RMB settlement in cross-border trade has important significance in the internationalization of RMB. It enlarge the using range of RMB from both place and time level. It also contributes to the internationalization of RMB. In the future, RMB settlement in cross-border trade and internationalization of RMB will come true under the economic policy guidance of government and the coordination of relevant measures.
