At the base of the extensive multivariate statistical models,this paper analyzed the competitiveness of non-life insurance companies and quantified this analysis. In reference to the research achievements of predecessors and considerated the particularity of the industry itself comprehensively, this paper selected 20 financial indicators to constructe the comprehensive evaluation index system of competitiveness. At the same time, this acticle used the principal component analysis and the factor analysis method to build a preliminary evaluation model for the sake of quantifing the competitiveness of insurance companies, and accessing to company competitiveness elements and comprehensive competitiveness. On the basis of thiese analysis, this paper recreact the models to construct a system of the main factors-clustering model, dividing these main factors that represented the competition system elements into different gradient types. Finally, this article made an empirical analysis of non-life insurance companies on the base of annual report data of non-life insurance company in 2011 and 2011. What this research shows is that the comprehensive evaluation method could measure the overall competitiveness of the insurance company in a more objective and systematic way. At the same time, the reconstructed model and its analysis not only provides a new research perspective and empirical support for non-life insurance companies’ competitiveness evaluation in our country, but also provide much effective information for companies in insurance market,with the value of a certain practice guidance...
