Research On The Network Layout Of End-of-life Automobile Reverse Logistics

With the improvement of people’s income and living standard, the ownership and the number of end-of-life automobiles increase year by year. If they are not processed appropriately, on the one hand, they will bring serious environmental pollution problem, on the other hand, they will result in waste of resources because of the large number of reusable resource. It is from social, resources and business perspective that we tap the potential benefits of end-of-life automobiles, so the study has theoretical significance and practical value.The paper regards the network layout of end-of-life auto reverse logistics as the main study object. Based on the relevant study and application on domestic and international of the end-of-life auto reverse logistics, the paper analyzes the system and mode of the end-of-life auto reverse logistics to pick up three modes, which include manufacturers, manufacturer alliance and third-party as the core. Simultaneously, there is a comparative study about the characteristics, advantages, disadvantages and applicable scopes of these three modes. On this basis, the goal programming model of the network layout of end-of-life auto reverse logistics is established. Finally, the paper analyzes the status quo of the end-of-life auto in Shaanxi Province, in order to choose a suitable mode. Then, the paper establishes a network layout model on that mode, ultimately concluding that the core of the third-party reverse logistics mode and its network layout fits for Shaanxi, and it should establish storage and testing location in Xi’an, Baoji and Yulin, build dismantling location in Xi’an, Xianyang and Yan’an.
