C bank was founded in 1912. It is the oldest bank in Chinese, and one of the four major state-owned commercial banks. As a Chinese financial industry brand with hundred years, C bank has been widely recognized and praised from the industry and customers in the international settlement, foreign exchange, trade finance services and other fields by its steady operation and continuous innovation.More and more commercial banks and a large number of foreign banks have set up in china since the reform and opening-up policy. The fierce competitions between banks, high-quality of services, variously financial products and so on have made the bank staff bear high job stress.In order to make study on the Staff’s Job Stress Status and Stress Management Strategies in C Bank, JN Sub-Branch, this research is based on the C bank JN branch staff as the object of study. Through questionnaire and informal discussion, the writer finds that C bank JN branch staff work pressure is high. The high work stress is resulted in passive job. Besides, few people will automatically try to complete tasks. What’s more, C bank JN Sub-Branch has decreased in the area of deposits, loans, and other intermediary business, even containing the international settlement business. 90% of new staff chooses to participate in the civil service examination, and other social recruitment examination for the excessive job pressure in C Bank, JN Sub-Branch. Especially, the job-hopping of executive levels increases sharply under the all-staff marketing policy this year.This paper aims to solve the above mentioned difficulties, construct a comprehensive management system and relieve the staff’s high work pressure status. Firstly, this paper cites literature review, and briefly summarizing the related research and achievements of work pressure, work pressures’ sources, coping strategies and so on, which based on the study of working pressure and pressure management. Secondly, this paper uses bank jobholders’ working pressure source test scale questionnaire which developed by Yajie Qiao in 2009, and the theory of three factors by Robbins as guidance. Making discussion with employees and analyzing the collected data by using SPSS 19.0 software to acquaint staff working pressure situation in C Bank, JN Sub-Branch. Thirdly, according to the data analysis results, this paper summarizes and concludes the staff working pressure’s resources from the three aspects of environmental factors, organizational factors and personal factors.Finally, through the analysis of the investigation results, this paper forms a comprehensive set of job stress management system from the environment, organization and personal coping strategies. This system can improve the current situation of staffs high job stress, reduce employee’s job-hopping rate, and provide the reference for the employees’ stress management work of C bank.
