Study Of FDI’s Impact To Chongqing’s Export Trade Structure

With the continuous deepening of economic globalization,the economic links between countries（regions） are getting more and more interconnected. This link is mainly manifested in rapid development of international trade. While in the rapid development of international trade, FDI is in rapid development, they become more and more interconnected and related to each other.Since reform and open policy,China attracted foreign capital continuously so as to economy has had the earth-shaking change.In the great backdrop of attracting foreign capital of china,Chongqing also fetched foreign capital actively.Followed the path of reform and opening.especially since Chongqing has become the municipality.With the implementation of West development and One Belt And One Road strategy,the number of foreign investment is getting larger and larger.FDI has become one of the important source of economic development in Chongqing. many studies have shown that FDI has a role on exports.but in the process of fetching and using FDI,there are still some problems.,such as the quality of FDI is not high, industry and industry distribution is not reasonable, investment is relatively single.To maximize the play to FDI’s influence on export trade,it need a more in-depth research of FDI on the impact of export trade structure which include export commodity structure and export structure.Resulting measuring FDI to Chongqing economic effect of export trade concretely.It has important practical significance.for economic growth of Chongqing and foreign trade.This article mainly expounds the base of the theory of the relationship of FDI and international trade and introduces the main route.then we analysis the status of FDI and export trade structure in Chongqing municipality which includes total scale,origins,the investment way,industrial flow direction, Commodity structure,the export trade structure of industrial manufactured goods and so on.After that,This paper makes an empirical study on the impact of FDI on export trade structure in Chongqing city, by exerting co-integration, according to foreign trade data of Chongqing during 1997 to 2012.It concludes that FDI has positive effect on Chongqing’s export scale, real export trade scale,export commodity structure and structure of export patterns.To maximize the effect of FDI in foreign trade,we need to enhance the government’s policy guidance, improve the investment environment and explore new way for investment.
