Gansu Province Carbon Emissions Characteristics And Dynamics Analysis

With the rapid development of world economy, climate and the environment problem more and more prominent, more and more people become concerned topic, from "high carbon" consumption to economic transformation calls for "low carbon" is becoming more and more urgent. For developing countries like China, can develop low carbon economy is to catch up with developed countries, the decisive factor among the forefront of the world economy and the important way of low carbon economy will be the focus of the China’s economic development. Time as big provinces of economy and the resources in northwest China, as well as carbon big province, the economic development of gansu province and cause an increase in carbon emissions, gansu province, in order to develop low carbon economy in gansu province, we must first understand the characteristics of the carbon emissions, gansu province, in order to suit the remedy to the case. So, in this paper, the overall characteristics of carbon emissions in gansu province and the study of industry characteristics, it is very necessary. At the same time, we should study in gansu province carbon emissions characteristics and influence factors, in the hope to find the focus of the carbon industry, strengthen the industry’s efforts to reduce emissions.In this paper, on the basis of previous studies at home, in gansu province as an example, the research of the system is used in gansu province from 2004 to 2013 the main energy consumption and GDP data, first of all, on the overall carbon emissions characteristics of gansu province has carried on the comprehensive analysis, and compared with the west and the country. Then according to the gansu province 2004-2013, the main energy consumption data from all walks of life and GDP data, the decomposition of carbon intensity in gansu province for the industry analysis, industry difference of carbon intensity in gansu province were analyzed. Finally, the gansu province decomposition of the carbon emissions intensity change agent in the analysis. The results show that the industry is gradually increasing carbon emissions differences, gansu province, and find out the influence on carbon emissions in gansu province is the biggest industry industrial, construction and transportation industry. Is pointed out that the carbon emission reduction work of gansu province key industries is the industry. Decomposition analysis results also show that technical effect and structural effect on carbon emissions, gansu province, points out that we should optimize the industrial structure of gansu province in the future, to speed up the development of advanced technology for carbon emissions, etc to achieve carbon reduction targets.
