In this study, combination with relevant data and field visiting survey, the author of this study summarize and analyze the present situation and existing problems of the characters Chinese prickly ash industry and puts forward relevant countermeasures.The main problems of Chinese prickly ash industry of Baoji are as follows. The techniques of cultivation management and planting lag behind relatively, the damage of plant diseases, insect pests and late frost is very serious, serious shortage of basic research and update the excellent new cultivars slowly, deep processing of industrial manufacturing technology and high-end products are relative lack and so on.Primary advices: selecting and promoting the excellent varieties, setting up the mechanism of frost damage prediction and antifreeze, supporting the association of Chinese prickly ash, improving the comprehensive production capacity relying on scientific and technological, encouraging the establishment of Chinese prickly ash production cooperatives, strengthening the construction of market system, expanding the sales channels, strengthening invite investment, fostering high-end processing enterprises and increasing the products added value, etc.This research will provide a certain guiding significance for the development of Chinese prickly ash of Baoji.
