In the current process of urban and rural integration accelerated in the background breaking the urban and rural economic structure, narrowing the urban-rural gap has become an inevitable requirement of social economic development of our country. According to the universal experience of the world of urban and rural development, combined with the actual development of China’s national conditions and social,only by adhering to the integration of urban and rural development, to build a new urban-rural relationship,insist industry nurturing agriculture and cities support rural development-oriented to accelerate the construction of new socialist countryside and promoting common development of urban and rural, in order to effectively narrow the gap between urban and rural areas,urban and rural economic structure to eliminate the problem.For a long time, Xi’an maintain the momentum of rapid social and economic development,however, with the acceleration of Xi’an urban-rural integration, social development though was a huge improvement, but as people follow the traditional model of development over the limits of the natural development of environment caused serious damage, which restricts economic development. In this context,narrowing the gap between urban and rural development in Xi’an, accelerate the process of integration of urban and rural ecological environment protection and balanced security system has become an inevitable requirement of socio-economic development is the key to the new era of strategic objectives can be successfully achieved, process to promote the building of historical and cultural characteristics of modern international metropolis and promote a new round of economic growth plays a decisive role.In this paper, combined with the state on "The Great Western Development" and "Development planning of Guanzhong and Tianshui Economic Zone" opportunities and challenges, try to guide the design of circular economy development model and the basic framework for eco-development in Xi’an urban-rural integration, designed to guide the realization of Xi’an coordinated and healthy society, economy and environment of rapid development. Based on the concept of urbanization and rural integration and discrimination, and summarized the progress researches urban-rural relations, pointing out that the new trend of the development of urban and rural interaction studies abroad.Secondly, discusses the theoretical source of Marxism ecology concept, discussed the basic connotation of Marxism ecology concept, screening Hegel, Feuerbach and others standing in Marxist ideology produced in ecological view, certainly Marx and Engels view of nature in the basic position of the Marxist concept of ecology, the more people neglect to Marx and Engels, the construction of future ecological civilization were excavated and studied.Third, Study on the ecological development model of urban and rural areas from the types of the urban and rural development process, through the analysis of three typical urban and rural ecological development, respectively is the industrial pattern, spatial pattern, landscape pattern.Fourth, the basic conditions and development process of the ecological development of urban and rural areas in Xi’an were studied.
