PET is selected as the research object. Based on PET national standards and relevant literatures, establish the networks relationships of products classification and PET indexes. Establish the metabolic structure and metabolic efficiency evaluation system of PET on the basis of material flow analysis and network analysis. It research in recycled PET on the case place among the relevant factories, businesses and family workshops within the case city. During the researching, collect PET data and products samplings. Make use of the method to analyzing the PET products about the case city and quantifying the metabolic structure. Test samplings of PET products to quantify the metabolic efficiency about "products to products". Analyze the metabolic characteristics of PET recycling and development in case place.PET metabolic network system storage capacity is 0.60. Effective material metabolic efficiency is 0.66. The major effect is the non-recovery of PET containers with less than 20%. The main components contributing in the network focus on social recycled PET products. Re-PET products are in the lower metabolic efficiency, and primary metabolism absorbs low of effective material.The reason is that the downstream metabolic production low quality. Re-PET products lose a large number of effective materials in the system.Grade the recovery of product and add high-quality recycled products to optimizing the network. The storage capacity of the system is substantial increasing. And metabolic efficiency of PET effective materials improves. The first metabolism and metabolic efficiency of downstream pathways are improved.It suggests to build a policy in grading recycled and to increase the amount of high-quality non-recycled PET container products. Through technological upgrading, product high-quality recycled PET products with rich species of recycled products. Effectively improve system efficiency metabolic of PET materials. Achieve efficient use of resources. Realize the goal of strategic circular economy and sustainable development policies.
