Research On Technological Innovation Efficiency Of Touch Screen Industry In China

This paper is writing for studying the current situation and characteristics of technology innovation efficiency of Chinese touch screen industry. The basic theory of the article is based on correlative concepts of technological innovation and technological innovation efficiency. The data are came from listed companies which are in the touch screen industry of China from 2011 to 2013. The methods used are the literature research and empirical research methods, qualitative research and quantitative research methods. And the passage, which combined with the problems reflected in empirical results,will also predicts the trend of Chinese touch screen industry,and puts some rational suggestions for the touch screen companies to face the investigation of future.First of all, the paper states the concept of the technological innovation and technological innovation,and summarizes the results of the domestic and foreign scholars,which are the influential factors of technological innovation efficiency.According to the existing research results and combining with the characteristics of the touch screen industry in China, he article summarized factors that influence efficiency of technology innovation touch screen industry in China. Secondly, the three-stage data envelopment analysis(DEA) is used to study the technological innovation efficiency of the listed companies of the touch screen industry in China, The first stage using BCC in traditional DEA model to eliminate environment and random factors of efficiency of technology innovation of touch screen industry listed companies in China is analyzed, and the results show that the touch screen industry in our country’s technology innovation efficiency is not at a high level, and there is a big gap between different companies. The second stage is using stochastic frontier analysis(SFA) to calculate the relaxation of environmental factors on the input, and the result shows that the government support, enterprise scale and the previous year net profit are important factors of the technological innovation efficiency of the listed companies of the touch screen industry in China, so removing these factors after the touch screen industry in our country the technological innovation efficiency of listed companies to change, especially the range of the scale efficiency is large. The third stage is using the adjusted data, to doing the same as the first stage of DEA analysis, and to comparative analysis with the first phase of the results. Finally, based on the empirical results, and combined with touch screen industry status quo and future trends, the paper makes reasonable way of using of national policy preferences, to fully understand the market conditions to improve the efficiency of technological innovation to avoid blind investment advice and attention to management efficiency.
