Research On The Problem Of The Development In Western Nation Rural Tourism

In recent years, the integration of urban-rural development has become a kind of common recognition and a major issue that needs to be highlighted. Rural tourism is characterized by great development potential, broad coverage, multiple beneficiaries and comprehensiveness. Rural tourism has positive impact on adjusting rural industrial restructuring, transferring rural surplus labor force, increasing the job opportunities of farmers, optimizing allocation of resources, shortening the gap between urban and rural areas as well as promoting the urban-rural integration. In particular, since the second decade after entering 21 century, rural tourism has increasingly become the catalyst and important supporting force for the great-leap-forward development of new rural construction in west minority nationality regions in China. On the basis of positive development of rural tourism, the western national regions have gradually explored development roads of rural tourism with different forms and characteristics. However, according the practice of recent years,some development roads more or less have encountered various problems in its process of exploring, and these problems are basically not well addressed. This paper maintains that the reasons why these problems occur are largely due to the lack of the thinking of urban-rural integration, which imposes restrictions on the further development of rural tourism. In addition, the lack of a comparative research on the development roads of tourism so far makes it difficult to identify the common problems encountered by different development roads in their development processes and come up with correspond countermeasures. By taking Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Gannan in Gansu province as a case study, this paper analyzes the development problems of rural tourism in the west nationality minority regions of China. First, based on the idea of urban-rural integration, this paper analyzes current situations of the development on the rural tourism in the west nationality minority regions of China in detail. Second, this paper makes a comparative study on problems of the rural tourism in the west nationality minority regions of China. Third, by analyzing typical cases, this paper discusses and summarizes the common problems presented in the development process of rural tourism in the west nationality minority regions of China. Last, based on the background of urban-rural integration, this paper tries to put forward the counte rmeasures and suggestions on the development of rural tourism in the west nationality minority regions of China and corresponding safeguard measures.
