With the continuous progress of the reform process, small and medium-sized enterprises have been the important strength in our national economy and social developing, play an important role in absorbing employment, promoting economic growth, pushing forward innovation and promoting social harmony. Small and medium-sized enterprises have bright future, but there are also some problems in the development process. Financing problem has seriously affected the long-term development of SMEs. In the case of bank-dominated financial system, the bank credit is an important source to access capital and is the most important financing channels for SMEs. "Small bank advantage" theory suggests that small banks play a more important role than the big banks in the process of credit facilities for SMEs. Given the small and medium banks credit financing for SMEs in China is special importance, the article mainly discussing the financing of SMEs from the perspective of small and medium banks, in order to improve the financing of SMEs and achieve common development of the real economy and the financial system.Firstly, clarify the background and significance of the paper, summary the financing of SMEs related research, then describes the research methods and innovations of the paper. The second chapter main content is small bank credit and SME financing. First describes the SMEs and their financing, and then describes the characteristics of SME financing. Finally, the paper analyses the important of small and medium banks when credit financing. The third chapter outlines the financing situation of small and medium banks in lending to SMEs. Analyzes the current situation and problems of small and medium banks in lending to SMEs and then analyzes the reasons for the difficulty in lending to SMEs. The fourth chapter analyzes the SME credit case of China Everbright Bank, introduces the case of small and medium enterprises credit financing and then summaries the relevant experience. The fifth chapter presents suggestions for support for SMEs credit from the perspective of small and medium bank credit organization system, credit approval mechanism and the external environment.
