The continued economic development in Asia from the 1960s and China’s high economic growth after reform and opening up, predict new research characteristics and research trends in the field of Asia’s economic history, trade history and the status analysis, China is also conclued.In1984, Heita Kawakatsu, Sugihara Kaoru, Takeshi Hamashita jointly proposed to the Asian trade circle theory which regarded Asia as a research unit, attracted high attention of the international academia.The new theory thinks that there had been a general trade circle in Asia before Asia was invaded by Western Europe in the 19th century, it ruled the trade patterns of Western Europe in Asia and was considered to be the premise condition of Asia’s industrialization after the War. It’s very active in the field of status analysis in recent years, but which mainly take country as a unit and study the trade patterns, competition relations, commodity from the modern perspective. Many researches still stay in the level of situation, problems, countermeasure analysis and lack new breakthroughs.The article use the Japanese historians’analytical method of taking Asia as a whole, combined with the use of research techniques on quantitative economics (history) to study this thesis. The Asian trade circle theory acknowledges that the Asian trade circle is the premise condition of Asian industrialization after the War. However, as a result of the difference of research interest, this article does not do more research on the postwar condition, just an important supplement. Based on the above academic research characteristics and based.on the relevant research achievement of academia research, this article will focus on the problem of the relationship between the trade situation and the historical basis, study the historical research status analysis, this is also the innovation of this article. The results show that China has a long trade history with Asian countries or areas and formed Asia’s unique order and pattern. The "West Crash" brought definite impact on traditional trade between China and Asia area after Early Modern, but the former was also fight back and challenged by the latter, traditional trade order.The paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, firstly raise the problem, on the basis of expounding the research background, research purpose and significance, summarize the major achievements of trade research on China with other Asian countries or areas and put forward this paper’s research perspective and methods; the second chapter is about the general history between China and other Asian countries or areas; the third chapter, through the comparison of the statistical data of China’s external trade data in 1913-1939 and 1986-2011,get the conclusion and undertake the following; the fourth chapter is about the analysis of the situation between China and Asian areas, including trade status, major trade countries, commodity composition; the fifth chapter analysis and discussion on the continuation and discontinuity through theory combining historical facts; the sixth chapter,on the basis of summarizing the main points of this article, put forward some enlightenment and constructive suggestions on China’s facing economic globalization trend.
