Study On Evaluation Of The Equipment Manufacturing Enterprise’s Core Competence Based On Intellectual Capital

Equipment manufacturing industry supplies tools for national economy departments for expanding reproduction. It is the concentrated reflection of technical level and national comprehensive strength. Under the open economic environment,the international competition is becoming more and more intensified, equipment manufacturing industry faces both opportunities and threats. How to continuously improve their core competence has become the priority among priorities. The 21 st century embraces the age of knowledge-based economy. As a significant intangible production factor, knowledge has emerged to be the premier capital for enterprises to make profits.It’s becoming increasingly important compared with traditional factors like land and labor forces. Core competence is the result of long-term accumulation and transformation of knowledge capital. This has been regarded as the most important asset in improving core competence of the company.This paper systematically analyzes the intellectual capital and core competence theory,and explains the internal connection.The impact elements of the equipment manufacturing enterprises’ core competence is got from the perspective of intellectual capital,thus building the corresponding index system.After that,we use structural equation model to verify this index system.The collected data are analyzed by using AMOS software for confirmatory factor analysis, three indicators are removed.Once again,we do the model validation and evaluation.At last we get a relatively perfect index system. Through learning statistical theory,we build the evaluation model of support vector machine and apply the enterprise’s core competence evaluation model of SVM to empirical research, we choose a sample of 50 equipment manufacturing enterprises randomly in Hebei Province for the core competitiveness of the SVM intelligent evaluation,on the basis of which,we give some proposals from four aspects to cultivate and improve the competence of equipment manufacturing enterprises.
