| With the era of knowledge economy and global economy approaching, great changes in the way of the enterprise production, procurement and trade have taken place. The uncertainty of external environment increases the difficulty in enterprise managing, which demand enterprises change the management mode, integrate the internal and external resources and form a more competitive supply chain in order to survive and gain more advantages in such a severely competitive environment. Purchasing management, the important part of supply chain, is gradually taken seriously by enterprises, the efficient procurement management of supply chains is the vital means to reduce the enterprises’ cost, to meet the market demand and to improve the enterprises’competitive ability. However, most enterprises including solar photovoltaic industry still use the traditional procurement management mode, which leads to low procurement efficiency and high procurement cost, and seriously hinders the development of enterprises. By finding out the concerned problems as well as the possible causes and using the procurement management theory under the environment of supply chain, the Y company’s procurement management system has been optimized and found out the most suitable purchasing management mode for the development of the company. |
