The Inventory Management Situation And Countermeasures Research On CH Company

In current market environment, the profit margins of corporations are getting smaller and smaller, how to raise the management level,gain more customers and market become a major problem of these corporations.With the development of operations and supply chain, enterprises pay more attention to inventory management which is important for them to improve operational management level and competitiveness.The inventory management of CH Company is empiricist and extensively, lack of the guidance of scientific theory. Based on the study of inventory management theory and method, the inventory management problem and reason are analyzed in the thesis. According to the enterprise situation, the inventory management strategy is provided in view of the inventory management problem from the whole perspective of enterprise production operation. The specific management methods are put forward, including ABC classification which selects different management strategy according to different inventory classification, the establishment of master production plan and management method, the economic production quantity, reorder point and safety inventory. Finally, the various institutional guarantee measures of CH-company’s inventory management are provided including improvement of organization and division of inventory management, the establishment of appraisal system of inventory management and the building of the continuously optimized corporate culture of inventory management.In this thesis, the countermeasures for the present situation of CH-company’s inventory management have been put forward from the enterprise procurement, production and sales. The inventory problems and causes summed up in the study progress are representative in the small and medium-sized enterprises. The inventory management strategy proposed is practical, operable and referable from the aspect of the enterprise and technique. Hope the thesis can improve the CH-company inventory management level and be a reference for small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises with same characteristics.
