Qingdao is the economic powerhouse in Shandong province, the quickening pace of opening to the outside world, the sustained and rapid development of export-oriented economy, make the increase of air cargo in Qingdao appears unprecedented urgent.This paper expounds the definition and characteristics of air cargo, and introduced the basic situation of Qingdao airport air cargo terminal and Qingdao airport air cargo, air cargo and other airport and Qingdao. And it also make full use of capital operation, strategic alliances, joint construction of Qingdao airport air cargo hub, strengthen freight, enhance core competitiveness, make the airport air cargo to specialization and scale development.
