Industrial Research On Engine Testing Market In Chongqing City

Automotive test and evaluation is very significant in the development and industrialization of automotive technology. At present, Chinese automotive industry is flourishing. However, the ability of automotive test and evaluation is not match with this phenomenon. And there are wide development room between china and other countries, such as Germany. In view of the investment demands of Suzhou Automotive Research Institute of X University’s industrial fund, the empirical analysis which combined with Chongqing’s testing market of automotive engine was carried out in this paper.In this paper, after investigating the development status of automotive engine testing industry at home and abroad, the present situation and development direction of automotive engine testing market in Chongqing was studied on numerous industrial perspectives which including the driving factors, supply and demand, and industrial chain and so on. The research results can provide directions for the social capital entering Chongqing automotive engine testing market, and provide policy advice for the government optimizing the structure of automotive industry in Chongqing and enhancing the core competitiveness of Chongqing’s auto industry.In the paper, the engine’s developing testing market of automotive in Chongqing was studied on test demand and supplying capacity. Firstly, based on driven factors of industry and status of testing demand,the evaluation system of testing demand was established and all evaluating indicators were obtained through the market investigation. Then, two sets of model, the regression model and the gray system forecast model, were established. Through verifying and comparing, the gray system forecast model is more suitable for demand forecasting. Secondly, taking the annual test-quantity of equipment as evaluating indicator, research were carried out in primary test organizations, vehicle plants, engine manufacturers through telephone inquiry, on-the-spot investigation and interviews. The times of polytypic engine test were ascertained according to the testing regulations. And the supply capacity of Chongqing’s engine testing market was confirmed. Finally, based on the above research, the relationship between supply and demand of Chongqing’s engine testing market was studied, and the Chongqing’s engine testing industry was analyzed by SCP model. Some recommendations about policy supporting and investment opportunities of the automotive engine testing industry in Chongqing were provided in this paper.
