The performance evaluation system was always become a focus by many enterprises, especially in the economic globalization and integration of today. You have to look for the method of performance evaluation which was suited to their enterprise. The main evaluation methods are: DuPont analytic method, economic value added (EVA), the balanced score card.In EVA evaluation system their main consideration is the cost of capital, which means the shareholders can recoup capital investment, which is better than the traditional performance evaluation to reflect the true profit of enterprise. But it also has its own disadvantages, such as only considering the financial index, etc... Based on the disadvantages of EVA, balanced scorecard introduced non-financial indicators, which can give investors and managers full comprehensive analysis index. But just like the disadvantages of EVA, balanced scorecard also has its own shortcomings, for example more troublesome to create KPI and it will take us more time to decide to which KPI is best one.It also has some problem in performance evaluation system in Hua De Company, which is not meet with the requirement from management. Hua De Company was always study on how to use a set of practical performance evaluation system to retain talent. So in this paper, we combined with economic value added (EVA) and the advantages of the balanced scorecard to optimize the company’s current performance evaluation system. The new evaluation system not only can reflect the whole process of economic value added and also have the introduction of non-financial indicators and KPI. It can enhance the objectivity and authenticity of the performance appraisal. So it is better to meet the needs of the development of Hua De Company, and it also provides a basis for assessment in the development of the employees.
