Research On The Development Strat- Egy Of Guangzhou Huadu Automobi- Le Industry Cluster

With the rapid development of automobile industry in China, this country has already become one of the world’s largest country of auto manufacturer. Auto industry has a long industry chain and great driving force for the regional economic, so it always develop as the form of industrial cluster. In China, almost all the main automobile origin has established their own industrial park, aiming at taking more chance and competitiveness to the enterprises in it. Since the world car was born, every country is promoting their auto industry through different way. Though late starting, China’s auto industry is becoming more and more important among the world’s auto industry, when Guangzhou’s auto industry is becoming a more and more important part of China’s auto industry. Compared with other origin which produce automobile in China, Huadu auto industry park is a typical one--rapid development, strong leading enterprises, obvious cluster effect, great contribution to the regional economic, typical stage of development, so in this paper, Huadu auto industry is chosen as the research object. The paper will then focus on the stage and pattern of Huadu auto industry cluster, and offer some suggestions to insure Huadu auto industry’s sustainable development.The paper’s data is from document literature, combination statements and the actual production data, which enrich the data sources of the paper. By means of systemizing theory and studies, the paper bring up a model of auto industry cluster’s sustainable development: no matter for cluster and for the enterprises in it, or for the government who is guiding the cluster, innovation is the most important thing to insure the cluster’s sustainable development; by means of disposaling data, the paper represented each stage of development of Huadu auto industry cluster. SWOT analysis tool and PEST analysis tool are utilized in the paper, which are integrated to a SWOT-PEST matrix. Through the matrix, the paper analyzes the conditions of Huadu auto industry cluster’s sustainable development by macroscopic view and microcosmic view. This paper analyzes Huadu auto industry cluster’s strengths, weakness, opportunity and threats in 4 terms:political, economic, social and technological.By interrelations of literature, theoretical study and case study, this paper synthesizes resultants of each research phase, and considers that Huadu auto industry cluster is in its mature period, from the aspect of life cycle, and Huadu auto industry cluster is in its rapid development stage. After analyzing development conditions of Huadu auto industry cluster, the paper tables some proposals at the end of it. Setting up a scaffold of automotive aftermarket will be a good choose to extend market requirement. Making more efforts to introduce major projects, which is good for a diversified development. Pay attention to bring in talents and foster talents. Speeding up transnational corporations’ localization will help to creat a stable development environment. Enhancing industry chain to make sure automotive components can support Huadu auto industry. Promote resources sharing between different cities around the region. By taking measures above, all the development conditions of Huadu auto industry cluster can ensure the cluster develop in a better period, and make the goal which is accounted as sustainable development come true.
