Application Of PDCA Cycle Theory In X Company Quality Management

Quality management has been widely used in modern enterprises as a key management activity, but results differently by company in practical application.It is a research worthy studying for domestic enterprises as to how to design a scientific and effective quality management system, which not only comes in line with China’s national conditions but also meets the needs of enterprise development.At present, many enterprises take stopgap measures or punish the ones who make mistakes when meeting a series problems of product quality,in most cases, which temporarily solves the problem but does not do much help for future prevention of problem recurrence.In view of this, this paper attempts to focus from another angle of taking effective quality management methods on the formation process of quality problems, the continuous improvement of quality results and the rising of quality level, thereby getting a new way to improve the level of quality management.The PDCA theory is right a scientific summary of continuous improvement and the regular pattern of spiraling ascension. Quality management methods which applying the PDCA theory fully reflects the dynamic and systematic nature of modern quality management.This paper, according to the four stages of the PDCA cycle, analyses the quality problems of CNG cylinders of company X with the application of tools such as Pareto charts and fish-bone diagrams, which are commonly used in total quality management, in order to identify the main factors affecting the product quality and to plan and take corrective actions. At the same time, company X carries out quality management of the production process, thus effectively improve the pass rate and continue to improve the quality of cylinders.
