Wit h the improve ment of the Internet popular ity, more and more people join in the virtua l world-online community. Because of the characterist ics of the Internet environment, Internet users can be more freedom to express the ir views 、look for what they want in online communit y. With the partic ipation of many Internet users, online community, as a platfor m, gather s a lot of know ledge, which influence the format ion o f knowledge of all society, and this change also affects the way of obtaining knowledge for people. The change of know ledge format ion attracts the attent ion of experts in related fie lds; therefore, know ledge mana geme nt about online communit ies becomes a research d irection in academia.The study on knowledge for mat ion mecha nis m of online communit y const itutes by knowledge for mat ion process and influenc ing factors. In the study on know ledge format ion process, fro m the perspective of process theory, this article uses the Brooks equation and SECI model to express the process of knowledge for matio n. The Brooks equat ion reveals the nature of know ledge format ion in online communit y, and SEC I model show the transfor matio n between personal know ledge and group knowledge, between explic it knowledge and tacit know ledge, and this trans format ion t hroughout the ent ire for matio n process of online community know ledge. In the process of model build ing, this article inte grates the Brooks equatio n and SEC I model to show the change of knowledge structure. In the study on the influenc ing factors of know ledge format ion in online communit y, this art icle divides it into two aspects: the one is the factors which influence the knowledge s creening, absorptio n, trans format ion of community me mbers; the other one is the factors that influence the knowledge share of communit y me mbers. Focus on this two aspects, based on the research of other scholars, this article executes data mining through questio nna ire survey to find the ma in factors that influe nce the knowledge for mat ion of online community.Through the ana lys is of the know ledge format ion process and influenc ingfactors of online communit y, this article constructs the model of know ledge format ion mechanis m of online community w hich center on personal know ledge and group knowledge, and elaborates the relat ion o f the parts and the influe nce factors.
