Thriving at work is a psychological state composed of the joint experience of vitality and learning, which derives from the Positive Psychological Capital Theory. It happened to coincide with the concept of sustainable development, which emphasizes the sustainable development of a country, a region, or an organization. While, thriving at work claims an individual’s sustainable development both in work and life. Our country is building a well-off society in an all-round way under the guidance of scientific development concept. Thriving at work focus on health, job-related happiness, learning, vitality, responsibility, progressive, etc. Thriving at work complies with the development of positive organizational behavior, and becomes a new perspective to research the sustainable state of working.The research work on thriving at work has just started Abroad, but it has got the attention of many scholars. The research achievements of domestic work about thriving at work is less, dynamic influence factors of the study was underpowered for thriving at work. Therefore, with a large number of literature research, this paper selected locus of control and psychological capital as the possible influence factors. The main research contents include: (1) the influence analysis of locus of control on thriving at work; (2) the influence analysis of psychological capital on thriving at work.This paper selected the domestic and foreign existing scales of locus of control, psychological capital and thriving at work, which should have higher reliability and validity. Then, we conducted a large sample questionnaire survey on employees who have more than one year work experience. In Guangdong, Jiangxi, Anhui, Henan, Beijing, Shanghai and other places, we issued 1100 questionnaires, and recycled 846 effective copies. After taking statistics sample description, we used exploratory factor analysis and factor analysis method to test the quality of the scale. What’s more, we used AMOS 16.0 software to conduct path analysis with latent variables of structure equation model (SEM). By establishing the assumptions, calculating estimation, conducting modification and compatibility test, finally we draw the following conclusions:1. Locus of control can affect thriving at work. Locus of control has significant positive influence on vitality of thriving at work, while has little impact on the rest of the three dimensions-learning, progressive and responsibility.2. Psychological capital can affect thriving at work. Psychological capital is positively related to the four dimensions of thriving at work, and the degree of influence is bigger.The contribution of this study lies in:(1) this study on influence factors of thriving at work is earlier in domestic; (2) it verified the locus of control and psychological capital have positive impact on thriving at work, so it brought enlightenment to enterprises to improve employees’ level of thriving at work.
