Study On Selection And Application Of China’s Agricultural Catastrophe Risk Securitization Products

China is an agricultural catastrophe prone country, however, China has taken in dealing with thecurrent practice of agricultural catastrophe still stays in through the traditional insuran ce company to assume the responsibility with the stage, because of agricultural catastrophe ris khas at any time, randomness, uncertainty characteristics, the insurance company cannot be ca rried out according to a reasonable estimate of the catastrophe losses, because of China’sinsur ance market is not perfect, our country agriculture risk compensation has not a strong guarant ee. Therefore, the implementation of agricultural catastrophe risk securitization productsin our country is very necessary. Study on agricultural catastrophe risk management mainly in the re search on the effectiveness of agricultural catastrophe risk as the goal, and makes acompariso n of similarities on development model of domestic and foreign agriculturalcatastrophe risk se curitization management and different points, and find out the great significance to our countr y from which advice or opinion. In this paper the study of theagricultural catastrophe risk secu ritization, through the comparison of foreign advanced agricultural risk securitization technol ogy and our country is in the initial stage of the agriculturalrisk securitization, found the agric ultural risk securities management in our country is not very mature, compared with other cou ntries there is still a certain gap, therefore, are summarized in this paper. Present situation of d evelopment of agriculture of our country’s securities risk andproblems in the process, and acc ording to these problems and the introduction of foreign advanced technology and reference t o our country’s agricultural risk securitization developmentput forward countermeasures, to pr ovide theoretical support for our country to implementagricultural risk securitization. First of all, China’s implementation of agricultural catastrophe risk securitization management needs t o be combined with China’s national conditions and the insurance market, and participation in the financial markets but also have a certain understanding, not blindly copy and learn from foreign technology and theory, secondly,according to the situation of our country’s situation to actively with the trend of the times, through the active efforts to improve our system and unde rstand itself, agriculture catastrophecharacteristics and source of law, truly according to their national conditions to deal with catastrophic risk. This article first through the explanation an d description of the relevantconcept of agricultural catastrophe risk securitization, followed by application of different characteristics and agricultural catastrophe risk securities products to make the comparison and explanation, according to China’s former agricultural risk acciden t experience and lessons, tounderstand the agricultural risk prevention has comparative charac teristics and other types foragricultural catastrophe risk in China’s advantage, while the implementation of the status quo of agricultural catastrophe risk securitization in our country is anal yzed, and pointed out thatChina’s current agricultural catastrophe risk securitization products i ssued existing problems,finally puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the operational strategy andpolicy level, make a summary.
