In recent years, scholars are increasingly focus on the ’negative behaviors’ of leaders in organizations, and abusive supervision is one of the kinds. Leaders’ abusive supervision have important influence on the CWB(counterproductive work behavior), which is very harmful to any organization. This is something severe that organizations and leaders must deal with. In this background, this study try to establish a mechanism model consist of abusive supervision, CWB, revenge motive and performance promotion attribution. This study introduces revenge motive as a mediate variable and introduces performance promotion attribution as a moderating variable.Based on the literature review about abusive supervision and CWB, we have established theoretical basis in this study. We have recovered 342 valid samples through questionnaire surveys. We establish a mediated moderating mechanism model of the effective of abusive supervision to CWB through statistic software including SPSS20.0, AMOS17.0 and STATA12.0.The empirical analysis result shows as follows: abusive supervision has a positive effect on CWB; abusive supervision has a positive effect on revenge motive; revenge motive has a positive effect on CWB; revenge motive has a partially mediating effect between abusive supervision and CWB; performance promotion attribution has a negative moderating effect between abusive supervision and revenge motive; performance promotion attribution has a negative moderating effect between abusive supervision and CWB; revenge motive partially mediate the moderating effect of performance promotion attribution between abusive supervision and CWB. Generally, the result supports the mechanism model which this study proposes.In this study, we propose enlightenments according to three aspects consist of leaders, subordinates and organizations in order to make the leaders and subordinates fully understand the harmful influence abusive supervision brings about, improve the management method and behavior and keep the whole organization runs efficiently. According to the thoughts and limitations in the study process, we make some advices about the relevant study in the future.
