Study On China’s Agricultural Products Processing Industry Cluster Status And Influencing Factors

Industrial Cluster is a normal phenomenon in economic activities. Such as the U.S.state of Georgia carpet industry in hisroty, After the reform and opening up, some certain areas in China has also appeared Industrial Cluster phenomenon, Such as Shaoxing’s textile, China, as an agricultural big country, has the natural advantages of develop the agricultural product processing industry, the development of the agricultural product processing industry plays an important role in the adjustment of economic structure, promote employment and so on. Under the background of industrialization rapidly growing, will the Industrial cluster phenomenon appear in China’s agricultural product processing industry? Under the China’s national conditions, what the factors affecting the agricultural products processing industry cluster? this paper based on the study of agricultural product processing industry present situation and influencing factors, and will give answers to the question.In this paper,theoretical research and measurement methods for domestic and industrial agglomeration were systematically collate and summarize. Based on these, we analyzed the agricultural product processing development situation and the agglomeration condition, and to study the influence of agricultural products industry agglomeration factors.We measured agricultural products processing industry cluster degree by calculating the industry concentration,location quotient etc. The result shows There are significant geographical agglomeration characteristics, that the agricultural products processing industry mainly concentrated in the eastern coastal provinces, and shows an upward trend.we study on agricultural product processing industry cluster factors from the angle of new economic geography theory,we measured agricultural products processing industry agglomeration factors with provincial panel data of 2002-2011.The result shows that economic geography,new economic geography and economic policy factors can explain the formation of industrial agglomeration very well.It proves that our theory is scientific.Natural endowment significantly positive correlated with agricultural products processing industry cluster.Coastal area has a good geographical advantage of agricultural products processing industry cluster.Municipalities would not become processing industry center because of its specific function.Human capital,economy scale,market demands and infrastructure construction improving have become an important factor in agricultural products processing industry cluster.They are all in line with our expectations.Economic policy and financial development is conducive to the formation of industrial cluster,at the same,we can get that agricultural products processing industry cluster factors are diverse and complex.Industrial cluster is the result of comprehensive factors.The analysis toward the agricultural products processing industry cluster status and influence factors provide us evaluable information.It provides the basis for later develop countermeasures on improving the agricultural processing products industry agglomeration.And it’s important for us to promote the development of agricultural products processing industry of China.
