The growing demand for energy has a close connection with the industryengineering and technical services. The technical development of oil deposit servicecompanies is increasing with the extraction difficulty of oil and natural gas. This articlemainly introduces and discusses the importance of the oil-base mud of M CompanyDrilling Fluid System Technical Service Company to the exploration and developmentof energy and the developing trend of enterprise’s technology promotion in TarimOilfield in China. The natural gas resource in Kuqa Foreland Basin in Tarim is abundant,but we face many difficulties in exploration, development and engineering technology.The requirement for developing and planning40million tons of oil gases in Daqing andTarim in Xinjiang is urgent. Based on the need of acceleration of Tarim Oilfield, themountain front development must speed up and the well completion period of mountainfront wells should decrease from average477days to255days. Meanwhile, complexaccidents in complex strata caused by using water-based mud shall be solved, especiallythose caused by performance deterioration of mud in the pit under the "three highs"conditions in Paleogene system Kumuliege evaporite bed, and protection of target strataof Cretaceous system mud rock reservoir from collapse. It can better serve China’soil-gas fields in Tarim Basin, and then play an important role in efficiency andreasonable price, multi-function, reservoir protection and alleviating environmentpollution of the drilling fluid technical system in the exploration and development ofoil-gas.
