Research On Corporate Social Responsibility Of Petroleum Enterprise In China Based On Low-carbon Economy

Those years, the negative impact of the high-carbon economy becoming more and moresignificant. The governments recognize that it is no differ from draining the pond to catch allthe fish. The low-carbon economy has become one of the best choices, it is trying to achievewin-win state of economic, social environmental. The low-carbon conception added newcontent to the corporate social responsibility: the responsibility of low-carbon development,it requires the enterprise can be committed to improving the energy efficiency and reducegreenhouse gas emissions, take actively respond to climate change.As an important fundamental enterprise, petroleum enterprise has a great effect upon thedevelopment of national economy and the people’s livelihood. It is an industry of highenergy-consumption, high pollution, high emissions. These years, Chinese governmentspropose to implement a low-carbon economy and building a harmonious society, low-carbonproblem and corporate social responsibility have been the soul factors that effect thedevelopment of petroleum enterprises in China.Firstly, the research introduce the concepts and basic theories of corporate socialresponsibility and low-carbon responsibility based on the study of low-carbon economy andcorporate social responsibility at home and abroad, then combined with the special nature ofthe petroleum enterprise in China, defined the connotations of corporate social responsibilityof the petroleum enterprise in China based on low-carbon economy. Secondly, with thereference to the corporate social responsibility reports and websites, analyze the currentsituation of top3petroleum enterprises’ corporate social responsibility performance fromenergy responsibility, economic responsibility, ecological responsibility, social responsibility,summarize the existence of the problem and the reason. Thirdly through comparing withforeign petroleum enterprise’ performance, giving our petroleum enterprise enlightenment inthe performance of corporate social responsibility. Finally, put forward countermeasures andsuggestions to enhance petroleum enterprise social responsibility from government, corporateand public.
