After put into operation, the new project will generate and attract new trafficflowwhich have an impact on transport services of the surrounding road. If the trafficorganization plan is not appropriate, it will lead to reduced capacity, traffic congestionand other problems. In order to ease the traffic impacts on the surrounding road oftheconstruction project. Therefore, traffic impact assessment into urban planning work. Ituses the traffic impact assessment method, from the micro perspective of the intrinsicrelationship of urban land development and traffic impact.Based on the analysis and summary of relevant abroad experience, and combinedthe research of TrafficImpactAnalysis in China and the development situation ofTrafficImpactAnalysis in Tianjin, the project analysis the basic theory theories of TIA.The project have a detailed analysis of the main technical points, which include thethresholds and the determinationof evaluation scope, background traffic demandforecasting methods and construction projects, traffic demand forecast methods, statictraffic forecasts methods. In the static traffic demand forecast, the project against thesubwayand the characteristics of integrated development project, put forward theirown static traffic demand forecast.Based on the of key technologies of TIA, against the urban planning, land use, transportation planning on the Tianjin Binhai New Area, the project put forward thecorresponding technical indicators. Finally, the paper combined with the actual case, applied the method to the case.Based on the research of urban constructionprojectsevaluation of TIA, the project designed to further improve the ITA of TianjinBinhai New Area Construction Project, to guide the construction of the project trafficimpact assessment work carried out efficiently.
