| Recently, as the constant increase of automobiles’ retail price, some carcompanies has to face a great challenge of the cost. Only by means of improving thetechniques, developing new products and employing cheap labor can no longer helpthe competition among competitors. Enterprises are beginning to lay their eyes on“the third profit source†in the field of logistics. The logistics system of Toyotaoccupies a very important position. As an advanced logistics mode, the taking inpattern of spare parts of Toyota has been studied by scientists and imitated by otherenterprises.This paper in particular analyzes “in plant†logistics and “out of plant†logisticsthe domestic purchase logistics during the domestic purchase processes of Toyota.The Toyota mode improves according to the real situation of the plant.“In plantâ€logistics here realizes the reduction of “in plant†logistics area, saving the operationstaff within the logistic area by the direct input and provision of spare parts.Through two improved projects: headstock and body separation and order carryadjustment; the logistics of Toyota not only fulfilled the Toyota mode of logistics butalso reduced the cost of purchase logistics through reducing the number of logisticvehicles. The characteristics of Toyota logistics includes standardized, JIT “0â€inventory and so on. Despite the local adjustment, the altered mode must obey theabove rules. Though the adjustment of TFTM has some experience that others canlearn from, the paper holds the view that it can still be improved further, especially interms of the management of suppliers during the supplement chain. In the end, thispaper advocates that if the purchase logistics mode of parts is adopted, we have toinsisted on its inner characteristics. At the same time, adjusting it according to thelocal situation of the enterprise will guarantee a better effect. |
