| The manufacturing industry is one of the basic industries of national economy, alsois the main pillar industry of a country in the process of industrialization development. Since the reform and opening up, the manufacturing industry of Hunan with the transfer ofits own advantages and the opportunity of the global manufacturing center, has obtainedthe rapid development, has become the high speed engine of Hunan economy. many levelabout manufacturing has reached the world advanced level, relying on the industry advantage, enterprises involved in international economic cooperation and competition moredeeply, the export scale expands unceasingly, has formed take the Changsha, Zhuzhou Xiangtan city group as the core, to ZOOMLION, Sany as the representative of the star enterprises and brand-name enterprises. In2013March, the tenth Congress of Hunan province put forward the development strategy of "the four modernizations type two", emphasizing innovation driven economic further development of the economy of Hunan Province. Therefore, the manufacturing industry of Hunan province in the new situation, how to further improve its competitiveness, to occupy a space for one person in the international market, is a topic worthy of study. Based on this, this paper takes Hunan province manufacturing export competitiveness as the research object, discusses Hunan manufacturing export existing, countermeasures are put forward to promote Hunan manufacturing export competitiveness, to provide the theoretical support for the provincial government decision-making.This paper mainly includes the following contents: Firstly, combs the theoretical basis of the manufacturing exports, that the diamond model theory, the export and the exportcompetitiveness of economic theory is the theoretical foundation of this study. Secondly, discusses the current situation of manufacturing exports in Hunan Province, the manufacturing export boom has conducted the empirical study, and the manufacturing industry inHunan province to export climate forecast. Thirdly, based on the theory of production function, constructed with export variables and their lagged term random effect panel distributed lag model, explore the manufacturing export competitiveness of Hunan Province.
