The Art Of The Flexibility In Secretarial Work

Secretarial science is not only a theoretical but also an art science,which should obeycertain principles and norms at work,and distinctly this is the formidable aspect insecretarial work.What’s more,secretarial work contains various features,such ascomprehensiveness,versatility and complicacy.It is these characteristics led to thesituation that it’s very difficult to find a set of general pattern in actualwork.Therefore,secretarial science has changeable characteristics,and the artisticquality of flexible processing is very important. In order to enrich the secretary "art"research further,to help secretaries work better and improve their professionalskills,this paper discusses the "flexible" art of secretarial work by drawing fromphilosophy,logic,management science and other interdisciplinary knowledge andcombined with some relevant work case.The article consists of five parts: the first partclears the connotation of "alternative" in the practical work,and points out that"flexibility" should not be the principle of original.The second part puts forward theview that we should hold a dialectical attitude towards secretarial work of the"change" and "constant".It points out that the secretary should not only be law-abidingand adhere to the virtues of integrity, loyalty and reliable, but pay more attention tothe principles of flexibility in the specific affairs.The third part figures out threeprinciples of flexibility.The fourth part points out how to master the thinking and themethod of flexibility.The fifth part mainly discusses the art of flexibility in secretarialwork.That is to say, we should wait for an opportunity to change, look out the degreeof flexibility, and extract the rule template in the work.Only by doing that can weachieve the aim of meeting changes with constancy. The ultimate goal of "change" is"smooth".As a consequence,we should build a correct concept of "change" and"constant" in secretary work, set up the accurate thought consciousness and grope forthe methods and skills in practical work.Only by cluck the hard nut can we haverooms to carry out the secretary work,and become a High-level secretary.
