As a strategic high-tech industry with high investment, high additional value andhigh risk, civil aviation industry is an important symbol of a country’s comprehensivenational strength. In the next twenty years, the demand of global civil aviationproducts market will continue to expand, and China is likely to become the secondlargest aviation market in the world. The Chinese civil aviation industry will be facedwith unprecedented international cooperation and technology transfer opportunities.From the perspective of the status of global industry and its industrial structure, howto judge the present development level of our country’s civil aviation industry, and itsposition in the global industrial circle, how to put forward strategies to optimizeindustrial system of civil aviation on the existing basis has vital significance to boostthe development of our country’s civil aviation industry, to enhance its enterpriseinnovation abilities and global competitiveness.Based on the enterprise network theory, the thesis exploited the advantages ofInternet data collection and by virtue of Gephi, which is complex network analysissoftware, to exhibit the inter-firm linkages of Chinese civil aviation industry in theform of network topology and carried on a series of analysis of its network featureand statistics. The article affirmed its overall network structure and individualcharacteristics from macro and micro perspectives, and described its economicconnotation. We found that Chinese civil aviation industry enterprise network hassome characteristics of scale-free network and small world network in our study. Inthe network, there exist several obvious core enterprises, which play a strong driveand resource coordination role. There are obviously many small groups in the wholenetwork, and the ratio of repeat R&D and construction is very high. Furthermore,some enterprise’s production scale and the role in the enterprise network are upsidedown.Furthermore, the thesis introduce the analysis method of weighted network intoenterprise network study and construct a simple model for global aviation industryenterprise network with abstract similarity weight assignment, and analysis the levelstructure of the network. By comparing industrial data intuitively, based on analyzingthe level of global business network structure, we found the development level of Chinese civil aviation industry in the world civil aviation industry network that Chinawas in the middle level of sub regions in the global network.Finally, we put forward strategies for the development of Chinese civil aviationindustry based on the view of enterprise network theory. Firstly, improve the level ofproduct and market breadth of machine manufacturers. Secondly, integrate the civilaviation industry chain and promote the upgrading of the civil aviation industrialtechnology.
