Under the background of global innovation, Technical Alliances have beenemerging in competition pattern as a new strategic way. Multiple factors, such astechnical obstacle, resource limitation, market fluctuation, make enterprises developinto alliances from independent economic organizations. Although TechnicalAlliances have advantages in terms of promoting technologies transmission,spreading R&D risk, achieving scale merit, the practicability is always questioned ashigh failure-rate. Knowledge resource for technical innovation is dispersed indifferent organizations and individuals by property and discipline, and integratingknowledge insufficiently is the main reason for failure.The key to integrateknowledge in different dimensions and establish knowledge system is knowledgeintegration capability. Therefore, it has academic value and practical significance tostudy the impact of knowledge integration capability on Technical Allianceinnovation performance and the suggestion for improving knowledge integrationcapability.This dissertation sets research approach and target by summarizing literatures athome and abroad. Firstly, it discusses essential theories in detail to lay the foundationfor qualitative research, including the conception and compositions of knowledgeintegration ability, the implication and properties of knowledge innovation, thedefinition and evaluation system of Technical Alliance innovation performance.Subsequently, building theoretical model on knowledge integration ability, knowledgeinnovation and Technical Alliance innovation performance, and putting forwardrelevant suppositional relations. Then, doing quantitative research around thetheoretical model, and analyzing215samples by SPSS19.0statistical software on thebasis of designing scales, empirical research and collecting questionnaires. It learnsdata distribution by descriptive statistical analysis, examines the data reliability andvalidity by reliability analysis and validity analysis respectively, and verifies theresearch hypothesis by multiple regression analysis. Finally, it makes somesuggestions to improve knowledge integration capability as well as TechnicalAlliance innovation performance, according to the research conclusion. The results show that Technical Alliance knowledge integration capability can bedecomposed into knowledge collection capability, knowledge organization capabilityand knowledge application capability. Knowledge collection capability can bemeasured by search skill, social capital and R&D input. Knowledge organizationcapability can be measured by knowledge foundation, knowledge reconstruction andknowledge storage. Knowledge application capability can be measured by learningcapability, organizational culture and value creation. The three dimensions ofknowledge integration capability have significant positive impacts on knowledgeinnovation and Technical Alliance innovation performance. Knowledge innovationhas a significant positive impact on Technical Alliance innovation performance.Knowledge innovation plays an intermediary role between knowledge integrationcapability and Technical Alliance innovation performance.
