Material is the material basis for the normal operation of enterprises, materialrequirements of power supply enterprise quantity is big, strong effectiveness, directlyaffect the operation costs of enterprises. For every link of the whole logistics process,whether the materials purchasing, or material handling, transportation, distributionand so cannot do without inventory. In short, the stock has penetrated into everyaspect of the whole logistics system. At present, large enterprise management process,pay much attention to the inventory optimization. Inventory management is anexpensive investment, to pay huge cost. Through the inventory optimization efforts toreduce inventory and reduce inventory costs, even the pursuit of zero inventorymanagement and logistics management center and the ultimate goal. This papermainly aims at the power supply enterprise inventory status and launched, main goalis to adopt reasonable method to reduce the backlog of inventory, the inventoryoptimization to a reasonable level, reduce inventory occupation of funds, and improveoperational efficiency and competitiveness of power supply enterprises.According to the lean management theory, combined with the actual situation ofwarehouse management of power supply enterprises, this paper uses Six Sigmamethod of data analysis to define, measure, analysis and improve on the storagematerials management problems. The main research contents of this paper are asfollows:(1) Three kinds of materials: spare parts, the distribution of materials and in theconstruction of the project materials is a major component of storage material isreduced, focus on the analysis of inventory backlog, the warehouse material statusanalysis has important significance.(2) To analyze the spare parts stock characteristics, and to determine thereasonable calculation model of spare parts inventory.(3) Determine the abnormal material return to define and control method, theradar map analysis to determine abnormal material return control indicators and theirmeasures.(4)Analysis in the construction materials inventory structure, determine thereasonable utilization and processing the backlog of material measures, by improvingthe inventory turnover rate achieved in building materials inventory optimization.
