For the challenge of cost raising, decline in purchasing caused by financial crisis,pressure of industry upgrading, energy saving and environmental protection requirements, aswell as a series of internal and external business environment reasons, Today’s manufacturingenterprise is passing through a extremely tough period, in this case, change is inevitable. Atpresent Lean6Sigma (LSS) has become the main method to improve product quality andconduct organizational change in manufacturing enterprises. Lean production and sixsigma management method has received great attention from scholars and managers inenterprise production and operations management, it has become the powerful means foreliminating waste and improving the quality. The essence of both of these two managementtools is to achieve continuous improvement of management mode, while there isalso some complementary advantage. This article studied the successful organizationalstructure change with combination of LSS of OI (Tianjin), contents include the followingaspects:First of all, reading a lot about lean, six sigma, Lean Six Sigma and the literatureon organizational structure change, combing the advantages and disadvantages of lean andsix sigma management method.in theory, and clarify the Lean Six Sigma (LSS)characteristics and the difficulties when organizational changes as well, which is moreconducive to the application in practice. At the same time it analyzed the glass manufacturingindustry and the characteristics of glass manufacture process.Secondly, analysis the implementation of LSS in OI Tianjin specifically.Descript OI Tianjin implementation of LSS and typical improvement projects fromfour aspects: organizational structure, personnel, work and technology based onLeavitt organizational change model.Furthermore, combining the theory and the actual reform experience onOI (Tianjin) process organization reform by using LSS. These are from four aspects whichare organizational structure, job characteristics, technology and personnel problem, analyzesthe classic case of the author’s personal experience, also with the successful key factors in theimplementation process.Finally, comes to the summary of study OI Tianjin successful change key path, internalrelated factors and external customer strategy Summarize the successful experience andenlightenment.
