Study On Ramp Logistics Dispatch For ’M’ Airline

With the continuous development of aviation transportation industry, the bigairports in China are getting busier and the airlines are facing the bottleneck of rampmaintenance. Furthermore, there are more flight delays, which lead to great loss.How to improve the dispatch of ramp service and maintenance that make the controlof services and maintenance much more scientific and reasonable; reduce theexpenses of the airliners, but still meet the increasing transportation requirements; allthese have important practical meaning and values.This article analyze and summarize the ramp service and maintenance researchstatus, propose deficiencies and lead the purpose of this study and research. It takesthe analysis of logistics6elements, treats the ramp service and maintenance as theramp logistics. It makes a full analysis of ramp services and logistics fromclassification, elements, restriction and so on. Next, combined with the practicalwork, taking the dispatching the baggage tug as study target, using the ProModel as splatform, the baggage tug dispatching simulation model is built. We analyze the trialresults by comparison and evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of the dispatchmethod. According to the problems, we propose the improving methods andsuggestions. At last, we pick out the most optimum dispatch method. The resultshows that the improved sim-model reduces the operating cost without causing theflight delays, which should provide the references to the ramp logistics dispatchwork.
