Research On Harbin’s Urbanization

Urbanization is an inevitable product of the development of industrialization.Urbanization has become a world phenomenon since the industrial revolution. The mainstream of the urbanization of the whole world is gradually transmitting to thedeveloping countries following in the footsteps of the developed countries. In the recentyears, the construction of Chinese urbanization has been growing very fast, however,the total level is still lagged behind a bit. The dual structure of city and country hasbecome the biggest bottleneck restricting the development of Harbin. It is instant tospeed up the construction of urbanization. In viewing this, this article studies theurbanization of Harbin. It points out the restricting factors during the development ofHarbin through analyzing the condition of its construction, and makes an optimizationdesign of the development of urbanization, then puts forward corresponding promotionmeasures and supporting condition.First, this article discusses the studying situation of home and abroad. It lays thetheoretical foundation of the research on Harbin’s urbanization. Second, the articledefines the concept of urbanization and distinguishes the related concepts and limits thescope of the study. It analyzes the developing condition of Harbin and indicates that thecity is now in the stage of the development of urbanization. The development level ofHarbin’s urbanization is relatively lagged behind comparing with the similar cities. Itpoints out the main restricting factors of the development of Harbin’s urbanizationthrough analysis. Next, aiming at these restricting factors and combining thedevelopment experiences of the urbanization of home and abroad, the article points outthe goal, the way, basic principles and the key points needing to notice in thedevelopment of Harbin’s urbanization. Finally, to make sure the urbanization of Harbindeveloping better, the article proposes the specific measures and supporting condition ofimpelling the development of Harbin’s urbanization.
