Under the current competition of globalization, the competition from enterpries havebeen changed from the pure product quality competition to supply chain competition.Forgranted, supply chain management has become an important management pattern for thedevelopment of enterprises and improving its core competence,and pay an attention of theenterprise managers gradually. In addition, with the development of information technology,whether foreign enterprise, or a domestic enterprise, is willing to combine its owncharacteristics, through the improvement and implementation of information technology toimplement the management of change, to create superior environment for enterprises ofsupply chain management. As one of the whole supply chain, the factory on time deliveryability become to measure the competitiveness of an important indicator. Therefore, based onthe research of the enterprise order management process, to explore from the perspective ofsupply chain to improve the on time delivery rate is the key point of this study.Based on OEM manufacturers MTO production models,and the Q company OTDstatus,we analyse the order production process.Due to OTD of Q company is only80-95%,we found the main reason is materials shortage by anlysising the influencefactors.But a lot of reason can lead to mateirals shortage,such as the purchasing lead time anddelivery rate of raw materials, production time, single waiting time, mechanical failurewaiting time, downtime, attrition rate and rework rate, etc. Finally,we find that the mainreason is procurement lead time issue.As you know,any step after we receiving customerorder can influence procuement lead time.We use many ways which is ASME,Summarizesand so on to analyze oure order process.It is concluded that the most important reason is thecompany’s order process trival, with the enterprise information management problems. At last,through the implementation of ERP system, and ESIA method to optimize our ordermanagement process.It is up to our aim that simplify the order management process, shortenthe procurement lead time, improve the OTD of material and eventually improve the OTD ofthe product, increase customer satisfaction.This is a diagnostic article,Eventhough Q company have optimized the ordermanagement process,and imporved OTD, but there are something need improve in thefuture.I hope that the order process optimization project can contribute to improve OTD ofsamall and medium-sized enterprises or for their reference.
