The issuance of3G licenses has got China’s telecommunications industryrestructured, making the market competition becoming increasingly fiercer. Based onrelated strategic planning theories and the current situation of China communicationindustry, thesis has made a research into the formulation and implementation of marketcompetition strategy of Maoming Telecom. Strategy analysis methods like PEST, Potter’sfive forces and SWOT have been applied to analysis Maoming telecom network quality,marketing and service quality.Firstly, by using the PEST method, thesis analyzes the macro environment ofMaoming Telecom, for example, the political, economic, social, as well as technologicalenvironment. Secondly, the Potter’s five forces model is used to analyze the currentsituation of communication market in Maoming district and the internal environment ofMaoming Telecom. Thirdly, the combination of marketing is analyzed according to the4Ptheory, and the Maoming telecom services are classified according to Boston matrix.Finally through the SWOT theory thesis analyzes the advantages, the internal and externalweaknesses as well as the opportunities and threats of Maoming telecom enterprise, and,therefore, concludes what is the core competitiveness of Maoming Telecom and relatedstrategies to cope with these challenges.In the strategy design to cope with the marketcompetition, theoretical knowledge of the differentiation strategy and focus strategy ofenterprise strategy management are mainly used to help make the specific differentiatedmarket competition strategy of focusing fixed mobile convergence. In the implementationof the strategy, Maoming Telecom should carry out the specific differentiated marketcompetition strategy by ensuring the fixed network and3G network quality as well ashigh-quality services to customers. To maintain its leading position in the competitivemarket, Maoming Telecom should firstly better the optimization of construction andimprove the quality of work network. Besides, apart from making full use of the twocore resource advantages, that is, the cyber source and customer resources, MaomingTelecom should focus on the application of fixed mobile convergence market and realizedifferential marketing strategies of alienation with the help of information technology solutions industry applications.Finally, Maoming Telecom should spare no effort tosatisfy the need of customers by offering differentiated services to them.
