| The high-speed railway is the important mark of the world’s traffic revolution,which shorten the distance of time and space, and increase the accessibility. Thus thetourism economic linkage and the space mutual impacts will boost. The comprehensiveconstruction of high-speed rail in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region makes the progress ofintegrated tourism development accelerated. In this paper we choose the year of2012and2020as two time nodes of rail operation and use time instead of space cost tocontrast the traffic accessibility as well as the tourism economic linkage before andafter the high-speed railway’s operation. This research makes sense to coordinating thecompetition and cooperation relationship between cities as well as formulatingdevelopment strategies in the whole region. The results display:Firstly, the high-speed railway increases the tourism traffic accessibility of allcities obviously. The space range of the one day travel is more extensive and the citiesin the edge of the region realize the more intense increase. Thus the tourism spatialpattern is more reasonable. But the pattern of Beijing center and periphery decreasingwill not change in the short term. Then, the tourism economic linkage ofBeijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is closer, meanwhile the linkage strength betweendifferent cities is enhanced as well as the balance of the linkage is improved, this isadvantageous to the contract of integrated strategy. The relevance of tourism trafficaccessibility and tourism economic linkage is more significantly. Thus as the importantfactor, the traffic will play a more major role in the tourism economic development.Finally, in the background of high-speed railway operation the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebeiregion should promote the allover upgrade of tourism traffic basic conditions, providea brand-new development space, better the construction and marketing of products,push the perfecting of tourism information system and so on, in order to realize a betterdevelopment. |
