Fresh agricultural products is the necessities of people ’s life, with thedevelopment of economy, people pay more and more attention to the safety of freshagricultural products, fresh and high nutritional value of fresh agricultural products ismore and more popular with consumers. However, the current logistics loss of freshagricultural products in our country is serious, which brings a bad influence to thefreshness of fresh agricultural products. To this end, the policy of “Farm to Market” isproposed, which can achieve the purpose of reduce the logistics loss thoughoptimizing the logistics links of fresh agricultural products. To take advantage of“Farm to Market” to control the logistics loss of fresh agricultural products, it isinevitable to study the logistics loss of the fresh agricultural products from theperspective of “Farm to Market”.Under this background and premise, the paper study the logistics loss of freshagricultural products based on “Farm to Market”, which looks the fresh agriculturalproducts logistics system as the research object and looks the controlling of thelogistics loss of fresh agricultural products as the research objective. And in this paper,the main research methods are that normative analysis, positive analysis, comparativeanalysis and the methods of combining qualitative analysis with quantitative analysis.At the beginning of the paper, the research status of “Farm to Market”, agriculturalproducts logistics and logistics loss of fresh agricultural products are analyzed on thebasis of literature review. On this basis, the paper sums up the characteristics and thecurrent situation of the development of “Farm to Market”; second, the paper analyzethe causes and the influence factors of he logistics loss of fresh agricultural products;again, fresh agricultural products logistics loss measurement model is establishedbased on the reliability theory and makes a empirical analysis as a case study ofchilled meat logistics, which can not only prove the availability of the model, but alsomake a good understanding of the loss of fresh agricultural products logistics systemunder “Farm to Market” by comparing the general pattern and mode of “Farm toMarket”; finally, the character of the loss of fresh agricultural products logisticssystem under “Farm to Market” and the measure of controlling the logistics loss isproposed though summarizing, According to the full text analysis, proposed policy and suggestion which can be useful to control the loss of fresh agricultural productslogistics system under “Farm to Market”.Although this paper constructs the fresh agricultural products logistics lossmeasurement model and analyzes the loss of fresh agricultural products logisticssystem under “Farm to Market”, the model is just an attempt because of thecomplexity of the fresh agricultural products logistics system, what is more, the paperdoes not take account of the factor of logistics cost. Therefore, there still need furtherresearch in these areas.
