In recent years, with the accelerating urbanization process of China’s social and economicdevelopment needs of the growing construction land, the city surrounding villages continue tobe involved in the process of urbanization, a large number of rural collective land adjustmentto urban land.In order to solve the worries of landless peasants,the government promote the"Country to Residence" project came into being. According to statistics, currently there are atleast156800000farmers lost part or all of the land.Among them, the landless peasants dueto the "Changing Villages" and many of them formed their number. After these people (referto landless peasants "Country to Residence" after due adjustment of administrative divisions,their identities changed, so residents collectively referred to herein as "Country to Residence"post) from rural residents into urban residents, the degree of education, vocational skills,habits, and the dual system of employment barriers and other factors, it is difficult to adapt tourban life of the community in a short time, it is difficult to realize the transition from peasantto the public.They usually fall into the dilemma of "no field farming,no job posts".Shouldsuch problems can not be effectively addressed, will lead to serious social problems, therebyaffecting the political stability and harmonious development of urban fringe areas.Therefore,how to improve the "Country to Residence" adaptive capacity of the city after residents,howto enhance their skills for sustainable livelihoods is a major practical issue worth exploring,the research has a strong practical significance and policy value.In this paper, take Tai’an, Shandong Province for example,Task Force in the form ofinterviews and questionnaires survey conducted in Taiqian, Shangao, Xujialou of TaishanDistrict, and Tianping, Zhoudian of Daiyue District.According to field research,analysis theproblem of Residents adapt to after "Country to Residence".Combined with240validquestionnaires survey data,using structural equation model to analyse the problem ofresidents’ urban adaptability since "Country to Residence ".This article mainly quantitativeanalysis the relationship of human capital, physical capital and living environment, socialinteraction, psychological identity. The results indicate that human capital have direct impacton social interaction and psychological identity, and indirect impact on living environment;physical capital have direct impact on living environment and psychological identity, andindirect impact on social interaction. According to the results, the author from three aspects ofresidents themselves, community, government, respectively puts forward the advice of solveurban adaptability of landless peasants’ since "Country to Residence ".
