Research On Evaluation Of The Integration Degree Of Tourism And Agriculture In Yiyang

In the background of the rapid development of tourism industry and the structuraladjustment of agriculture industry in China， the tourism and agriculture integration isacceleration. Basing on the associated factors to conduct quantitative measuring on thedegree of area tourism and agriculture integration is an effective way to keep its sounddevelopment. As a member of the Dongting Lake, Yiyang city has its own characteristicsand potential in tourism and agriculture integration. In recent years, it has achievedsignificant effectiveness in the context of “return farmland to lakes, immigrate to buildtowns”, but there are still a series of contradictions demanding prompt solutions, such asagricultural production and tourism services supply, basic farmland protection and tourismconstruction land demand, agricultural ecological protection and urbanization construction.However, there are few studies on this field at home and abroad at present. Therefore,systematically evaluating on the degree of tourism and agriculture in Yiyang and findingits associated factors are important to prompt the optimization of regional industrialstructure and achieve the comprehensive benefits.Firstly, Based on the industrial integration and symbiosis theory, referencing to thelatest research results of industry alignment evaluation in other field and combining withthe developing features of tourism and agriculture integration, this paper constructs theevaluation index system from such three dimensions as breadth, depth and contribution.Then，adopts Delphi method to identify the main evaluation indicators and uses AHP todetermine the subjective weight of each indicator. To test and improve the practicalapplications of indicator system, Heshan and Nan county are selected according to theprincipal of “consistent with the theme, seek common ground while reserving differences”as the empirical research objects which are verified and analyzed by field investigationand statistical data collection with the E-AHP model. Finally, this analysis finds thealignment value of Heshan and Nan county were1.8967,1.4830, showing that the overallalignment level in Heshan is slightly higher than that of Nan county. This result, which isconsistent with the reality, demonstrates that the selected indictors can fully summarize theimpacting factors, and shows the evaluation index system of tourism and agricultureintegration based on the industrial convergence and symbiosis is scientific and effective.
